The principle behind running your coolant ports from the cylinder head to the heater return circuit is to ensure that the cylinder head has constant flow of coolant at all times over the combustion chambers. This helps ensures that the cylinder head remains mostly even temperature across its entire length. This reduces temperature gradients, blown head gaskets, warped heads, and worse.
This is designed for cylinder heads that have the coolant port mod. We can provide the CNC Milling service for your head if you or your machinist are not setup to perform this.
The only downside to this is your heater core might not heat up as quickly.
We are currently awaiting our first batch to arrive from manufacturing. These are offered in Aluminum or Stainless Steel
